Veer Narmad South Gujarat University was established in 1965 by the Gujarat State Legislative Assembly. It is among the 11th public universities in Gujarat recognized by the University Grants Commission. The 210-acre campus is situated in Surat city, Gujarat, India. The university has 28 postgraduate programs in departments with various specializations in arts, science, education, commerce, engineering & technology, management studies, law, medicine, computer science, architecture, and homeopathy. VNSGU UG Admission 2026
VNSGU admission for all undergraduate programs has started for the academic year 2026. Students can register for UG programs such as BA, BSW, B.COM, B.SC, BBA, BCA, Bachelor of Library and Information Science, Bachelor of Rural Studies (BRS), B.VOC IT, BAJMC, MBBS, BFA, and Bachelor of Interior Design. The main medium of instruction is both English and Gujarati. Admission to VNSGU is strictly merit-based. Undergraduate courses are offered for the duration of 3 to 4 years and 6 to 8 semesters.
To be eligible for the UG program at VNSGU, applicants must have passed higher secondary or equivalent examinations (Diploma or ITI (NCVT/GCVT Certificate) from a recognized board. B.Arch is offered for 5 years and 10 seats. Selection for Bachelor of Interior Design will be through the Interior Design entrance test, and the National Aptitude Test in Architecture for the B.ARCH program. For the MBBS program, a valid score of UGNEET is required, and a GUJCET score for B. Sc. (Optometry).
VNSGU PG Admission 2026
VNSGU admission registration has begun for the postgraduate degree program for the year 2026. Students can apply to any PG program available in the university and affiliated colleges. Which include MSC, MBA, MCA, master of Rural Studies, M.PHIL, M.ED, LLM, MA, master of Library and Information Science, Master of Labour Welfare, M.COM, Master of Optometry, and Master of Physiotherapy.
